Dr. Oluchi “Ollie” Omogbai

Dr. Oluchi “Ollie” Omogbai is a passionate advocate for immigrant women, a dedicated mentor, and a community leader committed to empowering newcomers in Canada. As a foreign-trained dentist, certified dental anesthesiology assistant, and oral health researcher, she has firsthand experience navigating the challenges of professional integration. She leverages this expertise to support foreign-trained professionals, particularly women, in finding their footing, securing employment, and achieving their career goals while balancing family life.

Beyond her contributions to the dental field, Dr. Ollie is deeply invested in community development and leadership. With her diverse background as an African Community Champion, she mentors women and youth, helping them build resilience, confidence, and a sense of belonging in their new home. Through her work, she fosters leadership, personal growth, and economic empowerment, ensuring that immigrant women have the tools and support they need to amplify their voices and thrive.

As a board member of the Sisters in Canada Wellness Society, Dr. Ollie brings her passion for advocacy, mentorship, and empowerment to the forefront. She is committed to creating spaces where immigrant women feel heard, valued, and supported in their journey to success. Her leadership is driven by faith, purpose, and the belief that every woman has the strength to shape her own future.

Dr. Ollie is also a devoted wife and mother of four wonderful children. She understands the unique challenges of balancing family, career, and personal growth, and she uses her experiences to inspire and uplift other women navigating similar journeys.
